Close harmony - a cappella singing - is the essence of barbershop singing. Our repertoire covers musical
styles ranging from swing and old ballads to gospel and popular songs. We will add a touch of class to your Corporate Function,
Wedding (Reception/Church Service), Birthday Parties, Christmas Parties, Festivals, Promotions, Official Openings, Advertising
– anything goes! We will tailor our packages to suit your needs. Our History Beating
Time originated as a quartet in 1996, inspired by listening to a ladies barbershop quartet at the Cork Choral Festival. Making
their first TV debut on RTE's Open House 1997, membership quickly grew from the original eight members to 23. ![]() As Members of the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers,
Beating Time compete each year at the National Convention and over the years, have taken the Gold Medal seven times for
Best Female National Chorus. In October 2009 Beating
Time walked away with Silver at the 21st Anniversary Convention at the Helix, Dublin and hope to compete again in Limerick
in October 2010. |
